Defensive Driving

Michigan Traffic Safety (MTS) works hand in hand with the St. Joseph County Court in providing a top notch refresher course for Traffic Violators. A Defensive Driving Course is offered once a month and meets the requirements of a court-ordered defensive driving program.

Classes are held at the the Michigan Traffic Safety Classroom from 5:00PM-9:00PM. It is a one-time, four hour course. Please arrive by 4:45PM to sign in and gather materials. All materials are provided by MTS.

Proof of completion will be forwarded to the St. Joseph County 3B District Court by MTS. Class Registration Fee is $55.00 and pre-registration is recommended at least 1 day prior to class. COMPLETE online registration is required by MTS.

Arrival and Sign-In 4:45PM; Class runs from 5:00-9:00PM

Class Fee: $55.00 online

YOU MUST BRING: your driver’s license and an ink pen

Class could be cancelled if low enrollment. You will be contacted 2 days in advance by the instructor if the class is cancelled. Your registration will be automatically transferred to the next available class.

All Classes are the last Wednesday of each month, except when noted.

This Defensive Driving Program meets the order requirement for St Joseph County Traffic Court, not Michigan Secretary of State orders. No on-line courses are accepted.
